Born and raised in Port
Moody, BC, award-winning photographer Suzanne Merrett
moved to Toronto to study fine-art photography at
Ryerson University. Following her graduation, Suzanne
laid down roots in Toronto and launched her career as
a professional photographer. It wasn’t long
after that she met her soul-mate, George, with whom
she continues to cohabit and co-produce on both a
personal and professional level. She is usually kept
busy with her new baby Samuel, attending to her
miniature schnauzer Flicka, rising early for Bikram
Yoga, and has been known to end her day with a pint of
her hubby's craft brewed beer.
Suzanne is working on a collection of short stories based on her experiences as a wedding photographer.
She hopes to make it over to visit the ancestral home in Ireland next year sometime.
